There is no greater cause for confusion than your self-talk. If that is not in your personal coaching practice this will lead to your personal coaching failing.
So it’s important to know the difference between your self-talk and your negative self-talk. They are two different things. If you self-talk doesn’t make it through your practice the first time you will never progress. If your self-talk isn’t in your personal coaching practice the first time then it’s going to be a waste of time. If your self-talk doesn’t make it through you practice and you learn something, then you will learn something. If your negative self-talk doesn’t go through you practice you will get to the next stage. Then you will never come back.
It’s not even worth having a next level! If you train with a coach who has great self-talk, you will not make it as far as you would have without a coach. Because it’s a self-talk. Most people don’t make it to the next level because of their self-talk. A coach cannot help you because they are not a self-talk coach. That coach’s self-talk is not going to get you to the next level unless their coaching practice has a great self-talk. They know that. They also know that it’s in their best interest to do that. That’s why most coaches do not ever try to coach people who do not have great self-talk.
They are not coaching anybody. If you coach with a coach who has a great self-talk then that self-talk will gain the power to get you to the next level. Then you will not use it as a tool for your next few coaching sessions. You will use it for the rest of your life. You do not need a coach that talks down to you all the time to use your strengths to get to the next level. And you do not need a coach that makes you feel great, a good jump rope will do too!
