There might be a demand for reusing an MT's log-in name and password for a basic authentication.

"BasicAuthAutoCompleteLogin" plugin enables you to reuse your MT's account for a basic authentication.

BasicAuthAutoCompleteLogin (hereafter "BAACL" ) is developed and provided by SKYARC System Co., Ltd,.

After uploading the plugin, only you have to do is making a .htpasswd file, and write your MT's account information -id and password-.

Then, set your .htaccess for basic authentication.

When you enter your account name and password for a basic authentication form, then that values will be entered to the MT automatically, so you don't have to enter your id and password again.

SKYARC System also mentions to see six apart's BasicAuth document.
