Four CMS and their experts will gather at Osaka

Four CMS's experts will gather at Osaka to compete their CMS techniques.

"CSS nite in KANSAI LP1" will be held on 27th February, 2010.

In this event, four CMS power users will show their developing techniques of web solution on the stage, with their familiar software.

Apparently about 100 web creators will come to see this event. They will see a master works of four challengers.

The names of four CMS are "Movable Type", "WordPress", "SoyCMS", "a-blog CMS".

SoyCMS is an open source CMS software, mainly developed by "Nippon Institute of Agroinformatics Ltd.".

"a-blog CMS" is a proprietary CMS software developed by " appleple inc."

They will be given four issues and they will explain their solution way;

  1. Creating a corporate website in short terms, low budgets
  2. A nailarium website for Japanese mobile phone, targeting young women
  3. A website of real estate
  4. EC website with member control function

This event will be held for web creators living in western part of Japan. Four CMS users will show their methods and technical methods of CMS solutions and each CMS's functions.

To give a fair, original developers of these software won't participate in this event, and they will come to the place as a pure audience.

This event is not a competition, so there will be no winner.

A representative of Japanese Movable Type user is Akiko Kurono, known as crema.

Crema is well-known web designer in Japanese MT community.She also belongs to a design unit, called "linker".

She is an web designer, web developer, and also a Movable Type developer. She took part in writing  a few MT's technical books in past.

CSS Nite is very poplar event among Japanese web creators and developers. The event covers a lot of subjects - such as css, Ajax. Flash, access analytics, and CMS developing.

CSS Nite is run by Masahiro Takano, a president of "Swwwitch, Inc.".

Osaka is the second largest prefecture in Japan.It was a center of politics and economics 500 years ago.
